Dave Thompson moved his sailmaking and  rigging operations from South Amboy to Cedar Creek after the retirement of Ines Eggers and the closure of Eggers Sailmakers. Dave has been in the marine business since high school when he was part of the family business in Brick, NJ as the 1st Hunter Sailboat dealer in the country. After trying his hand at other careers, Dave landed at Eggers in the early 1980's and has been at it ever since. Last year Dave Slavinski joined him full time after a career in education and today the "2 Daves" rig and repair sailboats across all of NJ, Eastern PA, Staten Island, Long Island and parts of Connecticut.
